History |
The Chang-Liang branch of the Yuli Veteran's Hospital is located at the mid-portion of the East Rift Valley and intersects the Shiew-Gu-Luang and La-ku La-ku rivers.
The "Chiang-Liang work crew" was set up in the year of 1963 in order to engage in river reclamation. It was later renamed as "Chiang-Liang Experimental Farm" in the June of 1966 and redirected it's efforts to farming and other kinds of work.
This branch was eventually reformed into the "Yuli Veteran's Hospital: Zhong-Xiao and Zhong-Yi Brances" in the July of 1972.
The mission of these branches was to provide care for those suffering under chronic psychotic symptoms but possesses mental stability that is sufficient enough for work and thus enters into the vocational training programs for farming.
