Department of internal medicine was established in Aug. 1972. In its early days, the department operated only for our patients of Psychiatry. Due to health care for the community, the department expands OPD and ward for community patients.
Presently, the department is still in charge of pediatrics division, radiology division, medical examination division and community care center.
Current complement
Medicine Department: one chief, two attending physicians, five residents.(invited with Surgery dep.)
Pediatrics Division: Two attending physicians.
Community Care Center: one attending physician (pluralist), one janitor.
Radiology Division: one radiologist, one assistant, two mechanicians.
Medical Examination Division: one chief (representive), two analysts, one technician, and one contract analyst.
